That time the White House called

What happened?

Yep, you heard that right, the White House called.

What did we do?

Zansors was invited to a roundtable with President Obama on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews. The President would be there to talk about the advantages of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, and why US-based businesses will benefit.

Mix+Shine jumped into action. Within 48 hours, we facilitated with the White House team, helped Zansors prepare to discuss the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), and articulated the company’s position on TPP and how it will support the protection of intellectual property in global markets.

What happened after the segment aired?

We capitalized on this brief yet prime air-time to help Zansors go bigger. Beyond a mention in the New York Times, we leveraged the occasion to get on the radar of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Trade Representative’s Small Business Initiative, Virginia Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), and Thrive, the annual conference for the Virginia Biotechnology Association.

How can you ever top that?

It’s hard to compare this kind of media opportunity to anything else!

But media wins continued for Zansors. In 2017, Mix+Shine coordinated a shoot with Discovery Channel on wearable health tech. The segment showcased Zansors’ new sleep sensor that measures breath to detect sleep apnea.
