Rachael Seda specializes in developing creative, strategic and integrated communications and marketing campaigns that are measurable and result-driven. She has a passion for digital strategy, and was named to Top Rank’s 25 Women Who Rock Social Media in 2013. She was also a featured guest on PR Newswire’s #ConnectChat on Twitter, which featured her on a billboard in Times Square.
Rachael is focused on the consumer sector, and recently worked with the Hass Avocado Board to secure news coverage on the health benefits of eating avocado, and why guacamole is the perfect snack for Super Bowl parties. Rachael also focuses on partnerships, securing and negotiating cross-promotional efforts that connect her clients with nonprofit partners, such as Children’s Hospital of Richmond, and media partners, such as the Huffington Post.
She has worked with clients to launch social media strategies, including UN Refugee Agency’s Blue Key Campaign, Partnership for Drugfree.org, American Society of Appraisers and Monarch Mortgage, just to name a few.
April Sciacchitano, Co-founder and Partner
April Sciacchitano specializes in developing creative PR campaigns from concept through implementation. She has developed local media relations strategies for her clients, securing media coverage in the Virginian-Pilot, Inside Business, Daily Press and Suffolk News Herald. For her national clients, she has worked with USA Today and New York Times, and helped her clients bring home the PRSA Big Apple and Measure of Excellence awards for media relations in 2014.
April manages every aspect of event planning for her clients. She coordinates online and in-person press events, plans conferences, and runs exhibits. For example, for her client American Physical Therapy Association, April coordinated an event and exhibit for the Marine Corps Marathon expo. By bringing together AARP, a local chain of running stores and an Olympic athlete, she helped the client make the most of their sponsorship dollars.
April is president of the Virginia Society of Healthcare Marketing and past-chair of the PRSA professional development committee for PRSA Hampton Roads.
