Is there a way to repurpose your TikTok content to Instagram Reels without a watermark and without the audio being “off”? YES, there is and today we’re going to teach you all the hacks we know when it comes to repurposing your short-form video content. Let’s start with the content you create on your own TikTok account:
Step 1: Go to your profile and select the video you want to save to your camera roll.
Step 2: Tap the 3 dots in the bottom right-hand corner.
Step 3: Tap “Save Video”.
Step 4: Very important! Swipe up out of TikTok (like you’re closing the app) before the video finishes saving.
Step 5: Wait 2-3 seconds before opening TikTok again and let it finish saving.
Waa-la! As long as you swipe out of the video before it finishes saving, you’ll have a high-quality TikTok video without the watermark and with perfectly synced audio.
Remember, this only works on your own TikTok account.
How To Save Videos From Another Account
If you’re wanting to repurpose videos from another account (with their permission, such as a brand collaboration), you can go to SnapTik and download the video without the watermark. If the audio is off, we have a hack for that too! It’s a few more steps, but if you want to post the best quality video, this is the route to go.
Step 1: Save the video directly from TikTok (yes, it will save with the watermark).
Step 2: Download the video from SnapTik (without the watermark).
Step 3: Download and open the Splice App.
Step 4: Select both videos and tap “Next”.
Step 5: Name your project if you wish, and ensure the TikTok or Instagram Reels aspect ratio is selected.
Step 6: Tap the video with the watermark and scroll through the bottom menu until you see “Extract” and select it. You’ll see the audio waveform populate below.
Step 7: Select the watermark video once again, tap it once more to populate a menu, and select “Delete”.
Step 8: The audio waveform will automatically move under the video without the watermark.
Step 9: Select the video and scroll through the bottom menu again until you see “Volume”. Tap “Mute”.
Step 10: Play the video to ensure the audio lines up perfectly. Tap the Upload button in the top right-hand corner. Select “Ultra-4K” then tap “Save.”
