Influencers are everywhere. Why? Because they work! Influencer marketing is currently the hottest trend in marketing strategy—but successfully leveraging influencers and identifying who’s right for your brand can be tricky.

On today’s episode, we’re joined by Christy Keane, a Navy veteran and NICU nurse turned full-time stay-at-home mom and motherhood influencer. Christy’s career started 10 years ago before the modern day social media influencer was even a thing! She began by sharing her fitness journey online, then after a few years and one baby later, switched gears to documenting her life as a mom.

Christy’s journey jumped to a newer, more personal level when a video of her daughter Charly went viral. Christy’s daughter was born deaf and the video showed the moment Charly heard Christy’s voice for the very first time. Now, Christy uses her platform to not only be a resource to parents who find themselves in a similar situation as she was in, but also to partner with brands that truly add value to her life.

Fast forward to today, Christy has built a career as a social media influencer with over 138k followers on Instagram. With 10 years of experience, we can confidently say that this boss-mom is a PRO.

In today’s episode you’ll learn:

  • What makes a successful influencer
  • How to search for influencers that best fit your brand
  • Why asking for an influencer’s social metrics is KEY
  • The cost of working with influencers
  • How to successfully leverage influencers
